About Us
The New Sweet Home Group Housing Society (which is now popularly known as “Pushpanjali Apartments” in Dwarka) was formed way back in 1994 by friends and their relatives to have a decent accommodation of our own in the heart of the Capital. In the same year, the Society had been allotted 1.6 acre of land by Delhi Development Authority for construction of 90 flats. On December 4, 1994, the Bhoomi Pooja was held at site in large scale. Mr. P M Rao was the first president and Mr. R.J.Kulkarni was the first Secretary of the society.
The construction of 90 flats had been started from June 1995 and the same was completed by 1997 without any stopping under the guidance and dynamic supervision of Mr. J Ganesh, the consultant to the Society. The flats had been allotted to the members through draws of lots on 31 Jan 1998 and on 30 June1998. Due to non-availability of water and electricity supply to the area, the members could move only from 1999 onwards. The Society is situated on the main road of Sector 4, Dwarka which is accessible to all parts of Delhi.
